GUYS, I GOT A QUESTION! PLS HELP!

I have an 1988 TPI 350. Ive hooked up a fuel pressure gauge and noticed that I'm losing fuel pressure. It leaks approx. 10lbs/10mins. it sucks a$$ because on cold start it struggles, until its primed.I assume the my fuel pump is weak, because there are no visible leaks, and I've replaced pretty near every damn seal (re & re'd intake).

anoyhoe, my questions is....

I was just on www.jegs.com , and noticed they sell a one way check valve.
could I use this for my car, to prevent the fuel system from losing fuel pressure?

Would it be a better idea to just replace the fuel pump all together? is this a sign my fuel pump will be going soon?

any thoughts/help would be appreciated...

lates,

Corey.
