Engine: L98 350 w/RMT
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt BW 3.45

Does anyone know if the throttle control cable is the same on 87 and 89 models with tpi?
I got a throttle body but its for an 89-92, everything mounts good except the throttle cable.
So instead of having a ring that locks on the TB theres like a bike brake style that loops around the throttle and clips in a clamp.

Ithink 87 and 89's are different
My 88 TPI has the lead ball (aka as a bike cable) at the end and fits in a slottedhole on the throttle body.
