tether strap

I am wondering if anybody had ever installed a tether strap for a forward facing child seat into their f-body?

No- but having had the same problem with other vehicles- you might want to think about getting one of the centre/adjustable- but non-retracting belts from another vehicle (pickup or another, proper 5-6 seater GM car) and attaching that in place of one of the retractable units in the rear.

Hope you don't have to do what I did to the Camaro, hurt me deply to chew those holes in the metal, even if it doesn't show. Next time you see the car I will let you check out the damage. Can't say that I would do that to the Formula tho! I love my kids but they can ride in mommy's F-body

Depending on the age/weight of your child- the retractable may not be legal (kid&seat have to be a certain weight for the lockup on the belt to work in a crash)- and defintely not a great idea- I tried using a retractable belt a couple years ago and the seat would shift around a bit in it.
