New member in ottawa
Hi. I just fulfilled my life long dream and bought a 1989 trans am gta. I live in Nepean and am interested in meeting members in the Ottawa area. I am interested in upgrading my car's performance and audio system to start. I am also looking for hints on storing these cars for the winter. I would like to get involved in the local scene so if there are any events coming up please let me know. I am new to this forum so any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the ottawa scene...The best place to go to meet the rest of the car scene is Merivale and Meadowlands(the zellars mall on merivale) and Bank and Alta vista(tim hortons across from licks on bank)Friday and saturday night after 10pm the lot at M&M is usually packed and by 12 or so the muscle cars are usually rumbling over to B&A to hang out.If you do come out to those nights..you'll notice the lot is pretty sepparated(one side is mainly domestic and the other.. rice rides)
The most popular meets during the week are(from what i've seen) Hazldean mall Cruise nights..Tuesdays starting around 6:30.Orleans or Kemptville on Wednesday nights.I went to my first kemptville cruise night last wednesday and was really happy with the cars..Mint cars and everybody is really friendly.
Performance and audio are pretty easy to get help with around here
And events...check Motorsport Club of Ottawa > > News and check out the Solo 2.It's really booming and has a strong following.All different types of cars.
