TPI to Carb
How difficult is it to change from TPI to Carb?
I have an older 350 carb setup kicking around, the TPI engine is crapped.
Is it a hassle getting the gauges to work properly?

Re: TPI to Carb
Not too hard, but to do it "cleanly" takes time.... Most gauges are simple plug and play, however, to get the speedo to work, you have to get a few extra parts. You will need a VSS buffer box rom a TBI car or its equivalent. Fuel pressure regulator as well for your fuel delivery system. Carb and intake height are going to be an issue if you plan to use a stock hood. Do a search on here. There are piles of threads regarding the topic. Good luch

Re: TPI to Carb
The engine I have is from a 69 Camaro SS, lumpy cam and bolts are on the side of the valve covers.
I dont think the engine would run proper with TPI, other wise getting a prom set to that engine however I have no clue to what cam is used or anything else internal, so carb might be the only option.
