'87 5.7 lt TPI. Car has been sitting quite awhile. Appears to be running OK but not like I remember (it's been 18 yrs).

Symptoms: when I back off the throttle at highway speeds it drops to idle (sort of stumbles) then picks back up. It's like the throttle is waaaay to sensitive. There's a fair amount of slack in the throttle cable (3/8" or so). I'm thinking it's likely related to some of the other TPI symptoms described on here about stumbling and TPI tuning.

The car definitely needs a tune up. I can handle things like plugs, wires & timing but adjusting the fuel delivery system on this thing is beyond me. Is there anybody out there that you know that's an expert at fine tuning one of these TPI things?
