From the above post (#28), I guess there's more than one Brian, I'll go first. Basically stock Vortec head small block with a cam, 60lb Dekas, Racetronix fuel system. GT35R's with 35mm WG's and single 50mm BOV, all budget stuff, Truck manifolds upside down and forwards, hand fabbed hot and cold side. Two small intercoolers, one under each battery tray. Had to convert to manual brakes, no room for a brake booster. ECM by Dynamic EFI. Lots of work still to do which you already know.
I like the work you did with this motor and noticed you did your ECM by Dynamic EFI.
I have one in my 85 Camaro and was wondering if you could recommend someone for my tune.
I am located in Toronto.
Much appreciate any help you can be.
Hi Guys, bought this '89 T/A GTA about a week ago, getting the safety check on Wednesday. Looking forward to doing lots of driving. First trip will be down to Sand Banks for a few days next week- I live in the Ottawa area. Any really good shops you recommend for mechanical work if I cant do it myself?
Hey AJ, welcome to the world of thirdgens! Yours looks pretty clean.
Not sure what part of Ottawa you live in to recommend a shop. I'd avoid Hinton Automotive in Stittsville. I've heard good things about Getty Automotive.
Maybe hit a cruise night and ask around..
91 Z28 here (red). I've had it for about 5 years now. I'm from the Hamilton area. Havent checked on these boards for a while, but nice to see the Ontario page with some activity.
Yeah Ajax sorry my mistake. I've been to the car meet/show a number of times and the fbodies show up later and take over this section on the south side of the parking lot. I never have my Camaro with me it seems when they're there lol!

Hi Ontario members, im new to this forum from the Hamilton area. I have a 91 GTA that I picked up a couple of months ago. Not new to third gens as I had an 84 Berlinetta, 86 Trans Am and 87 Z28 all previously......before the kids came along
Im excited to get back into these cars.
By the way if anyone has a dove grey drivers seat with tracks pls message me 🙏 I only need a new drivers seat and rails to get my car safetied.
Hello! Newbie to Thirdgen but had a few 3rd gens along the way at 19 had a '86 Z28 with 305 TPI, then at 23 had a '88 IROCZ. A few moths ago, I got a burr (we could say midlife crisis 3rd edition) for another 3rd gen. I found a '88 Trans Am GTA that was decent but needed some attention. Slowly with the help of many on this forum, she is roaring back to the road.

It’s from an old magazine article where they were building a pro touring style 3rd gen. The article was called “Zig and Zag”. We built the car to do road course and drag strip so called it “Zig Zag & Drag”.
I still have it. I'll find the mag and scan the pages if you want.
I found them on eBay and ordered back issues from 1999 / 2000 haha. It was a 2 part series “ZIG ZAG Part I” in September 99 and “ZIG ZAG Part II” in October 99. I will post the articles when they arrive unless you beat me to it
I was mistaken. It was Chevy High Performance Magazine. And I only have Part 2.
that’s awesome! I had a hard time finding it I started to wonder if I imagined it lol
i forgot that they used the torque thrust IIs on it. Crazy how time files… that magazine article was almost 25 yrs ago and we are still working on the car lol.
I have a question for people around Toronto- years ago there was an f-body club (Toronto F-Body Motorsports, tfbm)- I moved away from TO a bit over 20 years ago, and sometime after I left it appears the club folded. Anyone hear know what happened to it, and is there anyone still around here that was a member (I was)?
Eric, I don't k now the club but there is one on FB called Durham F body that has many people from around the GTA

What is the best way to get together with fellow GTA/Hamilton/Niagara thirdgen guys?
Is it the Durham group?
I wouldn't mind going on a few cruises...
I am in the Milton area and would like to hook up. We have a Facebook group called Westend F-bodies. Feel free to check it out. We love our F-bodies. We usually hang out on Friday and Saturday nights.Buritto Boyz in Woodbridge on Friday nights, and financial drive in Mississauga on Saturday nights.
