Rear end re Build

My posi is gone on my car and I'm wondering if anyone has recently had their posi units replaced. I would also like to change my gears at the same time. Just wondering what the tally for something Like this would be.

Hey man! I did mine last year $450 for the Auburn posi unit and a $150 for the rebuild kit (bearings and etc) plus tax...of course.
It wasn't a hard job at all just remember if you are changing gears that the ring on the posi unit is left hand thread.. I almost found out the hard way!!

Hey buddy. Those stock 7.5" carriers are weak as you probably know but if you get a rebuild kit from GM with new clutches & bearings ect.. (i think its ~$150) it will work just like new after your done with it.

That's just if you dont have the $ for an Auburn or Powertrax yet.
