Where you looking at an LT-1 TB? You should be able to use the OE TPS sensor with any aftermarket TPI TB. Their are different versions for the '85-88 and '89-92 cars. It probably won't show any power gains anyways.

Ok.. that might be the problem.. my stock one has a little tab on it that the TPS goes with the flow of the TB the new 52mm doesn't have that.. just a small rectangle on the TPS side
