Can Someone help me??

Hey guys I want to make TGO fest this year since I wont be going to the Scenario Paintball game In Joliet this year

This is what needs to be done, I need to properly tune the carb since I switched it from F.I. this winter and am having a difficult time with it. Also I need to do the wiring on the fan so it goes on with a swtich

This is it, I really need help if I'm going to make this year, I have to learn how to drive manual too, so this needs to be done ASAP

Thanks for anyone willing to help, or willing to but cant I will greatfully appreciate it

I spent two hours reading your other thread on the rebuild. It was definetely interesting. So you put in a manual before you learned how to drive one? Wow! Now that is ballsy. In fact your whole project was all guts. The floor pan install as you learned welding was a lot of guts too. I need a floor pan on the drivers side but no way am I doing it other than removal of the interior.I guess you got the starter/flywheel problem solved? With the carb when I did mine on my old 86 Camaro I spent a lot of time with vaccumn lines. Once I got that right the carb tune was pretty easy. You may want to have that part done professionally, especially if it is a used carb. And if it is used consider a rebuild of the carb as I think it is next to impossible to tune a carb that really needs a full rebuild. Just offering food for thought.

You can do a search on the fan install switch. It has been done many, many times on this site.

As far as learning how to drive a stick it is not that hard. My wife taught me in a day. I am willing to teach you so you can make Thirdgenfest. Are you coming out south?

Re: Can Someone help me??

I actually live up in Palatine 40 mis away from the CHi in the NW suburbs, I was worrying bout having it done proffessionally, because I learned everything else myself, but if this is the only reason I cant drive it, Its well worth getting it done. Im not a fraid of lewarning how to drive stick, I have a couple friends that will help me with that. The fan switch will be done tomorrow, and as far as getting it to a shop well maybe at the end of the week.

Thanks for the comments guys, welding is easy and is now like 2nd nature to me.

Might not make it guys, I dont the cash to work on it or the parts too. The only way I'll make it there is if I get the transmission from the shop and into my 98 on friday.

This sucks, goal failed =-(

Well I got it, it was outta fuel which I dont understand because I put about 5 gallons of gas in it and only ran it while I was test/tuning it. This proves that this car is going to drink gas like no other
