Re: 2013 gen fest
Yes the kid told me it was a temp fix and I neglected it until now... So my options are... try to fix this myself where my car sits on a side street... or just pay for a tow truck to bring it to shop. This is a little job it seems and if I do bring it to a shop, I'd like to be armed with adequate knowledge so they don't try to rip me off.

I'm going to try to replace all my rod bearings this week. I really wanted to have my headers and borla catback installed for thirdgen fest but it looks like i'm showing up with the straight pipes lol. It sounds terrible

Re: 2013 gen fest
I am not trying to post on the wrong thread category but i got under the dash and the previous owner welded/bungee corded the clutch pedal to the MC pushrod.. because the hole on the rod is worn and so is the peg on the pedal...
Only thing i can think is it needs a new pedal assembly or master cylinder with parts that aren't worn... or cut off the peg and re-drill a hole on my current clutch pedal, then use a bolt and washers and nut to put through and secure to the pushrod.. damn it i don't have the tools to really pull that off right now..

Re: 2013 gen fest
^ha!... I am replacing my master cylinder as the ring on the pushrod has a washer half-welded onto it and the pushrod is wobbly from being jimmy rigged to the linkage this whole time. And a used pedal assembly from Hawks because the linkage is, well, gone... lol... missing the whole linkage part basically. Will have it all fixed up for TGF...
