I pulled the fuel rail and runners on my 5.0 and in the process some o-rings were exposed so i went to checker and had them order up a seal kit for my injectors. When i dis-assembled the o-rings on the stock injector it had 1 nylon o-ring and then 1 rubber o-ring. The new seal kit i ordered came with just 2 rubber o-rings. Is it important to have that nylon o-ring in there? Also the pintel (spelling?) caps that go on the end of the injector are a little bit longer then the ones i took off. The needle on the injector doesnt line up with the hole on the pintel cap, dude at the store told me it was jus to keep it from dripping. If anyone knows where i might be able to pickup a seal kit that fits like the stock one i would really appreciate it. After i went around in circles with checker, napa, and advance they all told me to go to the dealer. They wanted $96 for a seal kit per injector. I didnt feel like getting bent over the counter so i thought id check around. Worse comes to worse ill just get new injectors. I think they are the stock 17lb fuel injectors. Would it be addiquite to run some 19lb'rs in there on the stock motor? or would that just run rough as hell?

Seriously, send the set (including the cold start) to Rich at Cruzin Performance (link on my site). He reconditions and flow tests them for $10/injector and has 48hr turn around.

I have another set going to him Mon (if the rain ever stops).

 

will he include the pintel caps and all the seals as well?
