what do you think about these mod's??

alright, im living with my sister now and making good money, i got a new motor in my car, but its a crappy motor from car-quest auto parts if im not mistaken, the cam and heads are different from the stock one's so i probably lost some power in putting the new motor in it, anyways i want to do the following to it instead of selling it and starting from scratch...

1) get a stroker kit 383
2) get a set of heads prefferably L98 head's maybe off a vette
3) ZZ4 cam or any roller cam would do with a little increase in lift
and some roller rockers
4) ported intake
5) ported runners
6) ported plenum
7) 24lb/hr inj.
8) 52mm TB
9) prolly beef up my tranny and put gears in it, 3.23 or 3.42's somthing like that, maybe some suspension parts and an aluminum drive shaft, SLP header's 1 3/4" and a cat-back flowmaster or hooker or somthing NOW question would this be too much for a street car or daily driver what is the potential maybe 12 second E.T.'s??? thanks for you apponions -Don

Sounds good. I would suggest the same combo as GM High-Tech Performance (GMHTP) magazine did a couple issues ago. If you are definitely staying with the LTR TPI intake, I'd get an LPE (Lingenfelter) 211/219 cam, and some good heads. AFR would be my first choice of heads, but if they are too expensive, get the best heads you can afford. GMHTP recommended ported Edelbrock heads.
I would also get the 3.42 gears.
As for being worried about this being a daily driver, don't be worried at all. I have the combo seen below in my sig. and it drives very close to stock.
