Need Advice!
Hey guys. Theres a 88 Formula 305 TPI 5 speed for sale near me. Its in a local classified ad newspaper. The ad says: blue/silver, t-tops, 305 TPI V8, 5 spd, brand new tires, ARE alum rims, very clean, looks & runs good, $3500.
Ive looked at it and it looks good and drives good too. Its 100% stock, stereo and everything, but has 145k miles. I have the money for it but Im not sure whether it is worth it or not, good f-bodies aren't common in CT. Any suggestions??

Dont buy it
I bought a compairable car but with 90k miles for a few grand less
Not only that but it has a 305, and although it might be fun for the first month you'll regret the purchase very soon after
starting with a 350 makes life so much easier

Formulas are light...
5 speeds only came with the 305s.
145K is a lot of miles, and it is 14 years old...expect problems...make plans for possible mechanical issues (trans rebuild, etc.)
I would base price on condition of body and interior...and how much work you might have to put into it.
