vortec tpi or vortec carb?

I wanna know which is best right now i have a stock 350 tuned port and was gonna do the vortec heads and sd base but what would give me a better bang for the buck doing that or doing the carb on my car with the edelbrock performer intake with the vortec heads and edelbrock carb? which one do you think would be best for performance and which would be cheaper? thanks

How well can you tune a carb? I would keep the tpi. Much less trouble.
