finnaly fixed the backfiring

well for those of yah intrested I swapped in a small cap distributer from my carb engine jumped the wires. and it ran a lot better. replaced the fouled plugs. and actually drove it today yeh first time in a year and a half. I don't know what is wrong with the old distributer everything checks ok but it obviosly was the problem. so I was wondering if anyone had a part number for a coil on top msd distributer that works with the computer in my car. Which is a 1227730 on an 86 tpi converted to speed density. and also where should I get a chip burned at.

Burn the chip yourself, It'll be cheaper, more accurate, and produce the most power. Not to mention The fact you can burn endless times after the first one.

Or spend more money to have Ed Write guess at it.
