How bad are the stock heads on a 88 350 tpi? I was wondering how good the heads are with a comparison to another performance head. I Don't want to do a head swap on my new car. I am going to do a cam swap and put my tpis long tube setup on it. I was wondeing how much they flow if you know please post. I only want about 350 hp from my setup. Is the stock heads capiable of doing this with a ZZ4 cam?

Check out my posts on the stock L98 iron heads.

Stock they're marginal for performance use, a little bit of work wakes them up quite a bit. A LOT of work makes them kick butt, for a corresponding increase of labor and/or price.

Thanks for the good info man I really appreciate it. I thought these heads weren't too bad and it shows. You did some good porting to keep the velocity up and still flow really good numbers.
