need help please

I had aproblem with my car today. I was driving it seemed like it ran out of gas, The usual puttering. I pulled over tryed starting it. I ended up draining the battery. Then i got gas charged the battery but no start. now i replaced the fuel relay and i gety no fuel at the rail I tryed putting 12 volts to the g terminal at the aldl port . Nothing happend no sound or fuel at the port again what could be my problem. Please help asap. I am scr_wd if the car dont run . Oh yea the car is a 1986 chevy camaro iroc-z tpi 305.

I would check to see if the fuel is even making it past the fuel filter. If it isn't I would recommend changing the fuel pump at that point.

At this age fuel pumps beg for a reason to burn up. If you gave yours one it likely took it.

For your sake I hope not, like said above it makes good sense to check for pressure at the filter.

Maybe the pump just hasn't had the chance to prime up some fuel, who knows.
