1LE owners (oil cooler ??)
1LE owners (oil cooler ??)
I have a 91 1LE.Last summer against my better judgement I had to cut the metal coolant lines for my oil cooler a few inche in front of my cooler. Then just just ran a one piece heater hose.Well now I'm in the process of trying to replace the metal hose assembly.Went to one of the GM dealers, but not much luck.I can't remember if the assembly was metal tubing all the way to the cooler or not.it almost looks like there should be rubber hose on it cause there're ribs on the tubing but I don't remember there being any rubber hose on there. So if someone could please describe to me how the lines hook up to the cooler I'd be very thankful.

Quick answer, there's two pieces of rubber hose, about two inches long going to the oil cooler. I posted pics and a description of how to change the seal on these things on the board. Search for "KC4 oil cooler." At least I'm pretty sure it was KC4..
