fuel injectors shut off
fuel injectors shut off
I took my IROC down the īBahn today and it topped out at about 140. Since I have factory 16" wheels I donīt have a speed limiter so I assume the fuel injectors shut off. I still had about 500RPM left before hitting red. Can anyone tell me what I need to remove/modify to disable this annoying feature? Thanks.

Your injectors aren't shutting off. You ran out of power. Frankly, I am surprised a 1988 "peanut cammed" 305 TPI A4 auto hit 140 mph. That is actually impressive.

Yea Glenn is right, the 88 TPI's didn't come with speed limitors. It was the TBI models that are speed limited.
