Some one PLEASE HELP!!

One of my friends used to have a 92 camaro and he said something about "shaving the tuneport" for hp. Has anyone heard of this? Is it good/bad?

Also we haven't been able to figure out why my car will kill goin up driveways or in reverse. I'll tap the gas and the RPM's go up then shoot down to about 200-250 followed by a kill or close to it. Could it be the IAC vavle?? PLEASE HELP!!!!

the only thing i can make of your friend's old "trick" is he means PORTING the Tune-Port plenum, runners, and throttle body. this means shaving off the unneeded aluminum to net more airflow. there is an article in the tech section on this, you should go look and read into it. i have considered doing this on my Formula, but it is so tedious, unless you are really good with this kinda stuff you might not wanna attempt it-IT IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!! one slip and your buyin yourself a new component. but if you have done this before its not that hard. as for your Camaro, you need to read the article on adjusting your IAC and TPS. your TPS could be worn or out of adjustment. you also need to check really well for vacuum leaks. also, when is the last time she's had a tune up? plugs and wires can do wonders! also, try cleaning out your TB really well. i mean, remove it, and clean all the carbon build up outta it. is your car throwin any SES codes? this could also pose a problem. you could also need an ignition module. there are SOOO many things that can make these cars mess up just like your describing, in fact, im going through problems now with my Formula. if i figure out whats wrong with mine ill tell ya. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Throttle sticking while in reverse, under load? Check the throttle cable for binding and pulling from engine torque-up (possibly an engine mount issue).
