memcal interchangeability?

I got some 29C256 EEPROMS and when I soldered out my old EPROM, I broke a leg on the memcal. My ECM and memcal is out of a 91 Camaro with a 350 and a 700R4. What cars can I look for at the junkyard to pull a memcal out of? Theres a junkyard near my house with dozens of 3rd gen f-bodys and most still have the ECMs. Does it have to be another 350 SD memcal, or is there other ones I can use? Would it be better just go buy a brand new one?

Yes, you'll want another 350 memcal out of a 90-92 car. The memcal should always match the engine you are running as closely as possible.
