Anyone us one of these?

Just wondering if anyone got one of these.

How much more effective is it. Also I think it would help clean the engine bay up a bit.

They work but they're not the best thing to use for your car.

Using 2 K&N's in the stock housing is much better. 1) this filter sucks up hot air from the engine bay and 2) if your car has MAF, you cannot use it without some fabrication.

These filters are best used on custom applications using the TPI setup.

Hope that helps.

Things like putting a TPi in a '55 chevy or the ever popular 350 TPI in a Fiero.

I cut out the bottom of my airbox in my MAF car and put in some K&N filters.
I pull out the filters and clean them every time I change the oil in the car.
Have I noticed a change in performance? I dunno.
I guess I need to recalibrate my butt-dyno.
