What flexplate to use for ZZ4 shortblock?
Summit has their brand and Jegs has their brand......there is also CSI, B&M, TCI....etc. I want to keep it at around $60. Is the Jegs part number 555-60150 the one I need. Do I need an internally balanced, one piece rear main, with 153 teeth correct????????? I will be using the starter from the L98..... What ARP torque converter bolts do I need also...there are like 5 different ones!!! I will be using the ACT 9.5in on a 700R4...
Thanks

I just had to do this in my car a little over a month ago, because my flexplate got shattered...after Summit sent me the wrong one after promising me it was right, they had to ship me another one that was right...they only had it in a B&M version that was $89.95, I also have a ZZ4 block in my car. The flexplate is counterbalanced, and is SFI approved and 153 tooth. I am using a GM performance parts mini-starter, and everything works fine. I have the shipping reciept right here, and the part # is BMM-20238. I would definately recommend doing this, because if you get the converter in there and break the flexplate, and you will, you will hate yourself for not doing this the first time.
