Ive been reading the topics about porting and thinking about doing it.but i have a question.whith porting the intake and everything how does it affect the tempature.should i run a cooler thermo.or program the secondary fan to come on sooner to compesate for it.

 

 

I've ported my heads, siamesed my intake,runners and ported plenum. hasn't affected the temp at all. if you haven't switched toa 180deg stat and a jet fan switch I would. thats teh best mod I've done I think. like I said though the porting hasn't done anything w/ temp.

 

No, you don't change your thermostat just because you're doing some porting....
