Engine: Stock L98 with bolt ons.
Transmission: Stock rebuilt tranny with 2k stall and cooler.
I have only bolt ons done to my car and at the time I was running manifolds still and I consistantly was slower across the board. I tried dialing things in with an AFPR, manually shifting and what not and the only thing that got my ETs back to where they were was reinstalling the stock runners. I did have them bolted on as is but I have an intake, runners and spare plenum I need to port match but Im not convinced the runners will do any good for me so when the SLPs are on Ill match up the stockers that way if the SLPs dont perform again atleast I know where the problem lies and I can correct it.
Bolt ons: airfoil, chip, 8.8wires, K&N in modded air box, Flowmaster muffler back, March crank pulley only, street tires and 50k aprox miles in good weather I went 14.1s at 3725lbs.
1)Added SLP runners, MSD and in the dead heat of summer I was in the 14.5-14.6 range. Added the stockers and I got my times back to 14.2-14.3 in the same weather.
2)Added MAT relocate, Catco cats, TPIS alum DS, SLP converter, BFG drag radials and the ETs dropped to 13.521 in good weather, even cut some solid 13s on street tires.(3688lbs)
3)Added SLP 1 3/4 headers and Holey AFPR and my best ET to date is 13.608
Next update will be the intake but I wont add everything at once I want to make sure each part is a step in the right direction so far SLP has made my car slower for my $800 some odd dollars invested, thats why I say get times before and after nothing is worse than paying to go slower....

well slp's cannot be that bad, with the slp's as 1 of my major mods right now i just dyno'd 258 at the flywheel using 20% loss through the trans. considering the car is a 230hp car with over 100K miles and the next biggest mod is to the airbox with k&n's the slps have to be adding their share.

I'm sorry but if you run slower using headers then obviously there soemthign wrong w/ your car.
Besides the fact I don't know what size engien you have, if it's a 305 1 & 3/4 headers are WAY to big, if you have a 350 there still a bit to big unless you plan on using a super charger later int ime.
1 & 5/8's is the way to go w/ headers. & SLP headers rock, but I'm not willing to spend 500.00 whe I can ge a different brand for 130.00
