fuel smell
fuel smell
When I got home from a rather long drive today I smelled gas. Upon inspection it seemed to be coming from the canister next to the air filter. Anyone know why this might be. Any help would be great. Thanks guys
I have had the same problem, except that for me it was leaky fuel injector seals. Real easy to change.
Just to be sure check around your fuel injectors.
I also have seen cracks in the charcoal canister that could that problem.
Good luck!

I just put new injectors in and those checked out okay. I wasn't sure if fuel actually went to that canister or not, but since it does I will check it and the lines for leaks. Do you know the actual function of this devicd. Thanks

There is a filter pad on the underside that no one ever changes, check it out. You can get a replacement filter at most any auto parts store for about $2-$3.
