hey guys,

i was wondering if there was any way to convert the lt1 TB's to work with a tpi system? im asking mainly cause i can get a great deal on a 58mm TB from an LT1, but i know it wont work with my 383 TPI. is there anything i can do/change to get this piece to function on my car???

i did a search on this yesterday... the tps is different and there is no TV cable... the trans's in lt1's (except 93) are comp controled... if the tb is for a 92-93 vette or camaro, u might be able to work something out.... but its not gunna work if its for an later lt1

You can use a lt1 throttle body on a tpi, but you will have to cut your old tps and Iac connectors off and slice into the connectors on the lt1 throttle body. The tv cable connects to a bracket, but it will work with a lt2 tb.
