What is this QUICK!!!

What is the thing next to the water temp sensor on the manifold that has something like an injector connector, but a water temp kinda sensor on it????

I think they are both temp sensors. 1 is for your gauge and one is for the computer. I think what you described is the computers sensor.

In the front of the intake on an 86 you have the sender for the ECM and the switch for the cold start injector. Sounds like you're looking at the CSI.

The guage sender is in the driver's side head between the 1 & 3 exhaust ports.

Yea, thats the cold start switch. You dont wanna know what other applications that particular switch was used on
