porting and new gaskets???

Hey everybody question. I heard that you shouldn't use any gasket dresing on the gaskets when install the intake manifold because it will foul the o2 sensor. Any truth to this? Also can I port match my superram to my heads with out taking the heads off the engine? I have never done this and I don't want to screw up and get metal shaving/dust in places it doesn't belong. Any helpful hints would be nice. Thanks, Josh

Oh yeah, what size gaskets should I use. I've got the superram going on a zz4.

If I can answer any part of this question it would be the part about porting the heads whilst still on the engine... dont do that.

Just make sure the Sealent is "Sensor safe"

There really should Not be Much need to use any sealent on the "dry" Half of the manifold anyway.

And Don't port your heads ( ha ) while they are on the engine, your going to get metal filings everywhere. And the limited port Matching that you could do without access to the bowls and chambers isnt going to do you any good anyway.
