305 starting
i have an 85 trans am with a 305 and it is starting really slow and has a small hesitation every now and then and i think its either my fuel pump or my cold start injection and i was wondering if there is any way to test to see if its the cold start injection or is there andy way to tell. i would appreciate any information that u can give me. i need to get this fixed

FWIW, when my '85 starting having trouble
starting, it was the fuel pump.
You can try taking the harness plug off
of the CSI and see if it starts any worse?
Other than removing the CSI from the intake
and activating it manually, I'm not sure
of any easy way to test it..

When was the last tune up? IAC and TPS settings good? CLeaned IAC? Ever cleaned and balanced injectors?
Ever changed the plugs and wires? Distributor cap and rotor?
Much better to cover the basics first before diving in to more difficult solutions.
Do a pressure test with a fuel guage at wide open throttle through 2nd gear. Psi should hold steady and not drop.
