Variable Speed Sensor
Variable Speed Sensor
Hi, All. I am down to the last item on my TBI to TPI conversion list and it is proving to be hard to find? I need a TPI vss that is the correct/same size as the current TBI vss. The car is a 1991 5L TPI now. The TBI vss is electro-mechanical while the TPI vss is a permanent magnet generator. Help!!!

What ECM are you going to run after
the conversion? You may be able to
use the non-magnetic input channel
of the '7730 ECM (EPROM change) if
that's what you're using?
(The MAF to MAP tech article has info
on the EPROM change.)
