What would I run with all my mods listed, Edelbrock baseplate w/ runners, 2.02's, and a 218 cam... I'm getting the intake and cam soon, and the heads later cuz of moolah reasons. But what would I run in the quarter with the above setup? Ballpark figure, aint looking to the tenth. Thanks alot!

 

Yo; firebird, you say 218 on cam what other specs are there. Such as lift on intake and exhaust. And is this an edlebrock rpm cam or other.

Duration on Intake and exhaust are both 218 @ .050", and lift on int. and exh. are both .454. And all i know about the intake is that it's just a baseplate runners setup fot a tpi. Once again I cannot thank you enough!

 

You know us piston heads, just like making them run for fun. Just feel the thrill. As far as the cam, your GTA should have a roller cam in it. And the specs on it are not to shabby. Just add 1.6 rockers, like comp roller tipped or true rollers. I saw here on thirdgen set of comp gold true rollers very resonable and looked good. On that cam you have it is just a tad over your stock cam so I don't know. As far as base go ahead and port match with gaskets by scribing out with scratch awl and then take dremel or die grinder and get polish kit to smooth out.
