Sounds kind of high if you have the stock regulator. Did you disconnect the vacuum line and plug it when you took the readings?

No, this is the first time I've messed with the fuel supply system! Got a brand new gauge though! 2.8l mpfi is the setup! Should I try to adjust the pressure!

and if ur asking on the pump pressure the book says it should be a little less some pumps can and do create more pressure than needed since who knows where they are made as for as electrics. Think mine spiked around 55 -60 then held at around 50something since this was from the regulator cant be sure that i didnt do the test right i will do a test with vac off and then on

Ahhhhhhh
Back after a year nearly car is still giving me hell for the time being though! Well too make a short story long i have replaced the fuel pressure regulator diaphram it started then would not idle, so after a week sitting i try again with new egr vavle(good thing though the egr tower worked loose a little so its tight now, thats where that little bit of exhaust and noise came from) Now it want even start! So I spray a little starter fluid engine turns over,so got spark (must be the fuel supply rite?) darn rats a fracken fuel delivery rail pressure now reads fricken 11 pounds so its off to the zone for a new inline filter and possibly distributor pickup coil. I have replaced the bug, icm and cap with new wires and plugs or should i just go for the rebuilt one from the zone and if u say the pumps bad at least tell me how much fun it will be replacing it

not having fun yet Stryder Out

Great site Great site

Central Tejas!
DIRTY IAC

Replace it? YES!!!!
Problem solved now!!! Now for a final tune This will be a long time in the making for me i have been fighting with this problem for sometime! WHOOPI YEW
Not cleaning the IAC housing and replacing the egr valve after the engine rebuild has cause this problem to appear and maybe time for a new pcv valve even though it was replace on rebuild
Anyheys I thank Third Generation Forum keep up the good work
