My L98 stalls after first start when cold then starts right up?
When I first start the car up when cold, it'll fire right up, run for 1-2 seconds then stalls. Second attempt the car starts right up no problems and is fine. Not sure if it's related or not (probably is) but when it's up to normal temp, the idle will lope really bad and sometimes stall at idle. Once again, it'll restart right away.
It happened this last weekend at the track, twice when I was staging, 3 times after getting my time slip, 5 times in the staging lanes and 2 when parking after runs. Pretty damn embarassing
I'm suspecting either an EGR or charcoal canister related problem with either a valve or relay.
What do you guys think?

I think MAF cars suck. I had similar problems for a while due to that piece of crap in your intake. A new sensor and relays fixed the stalling problem. Could probably be many other things, though. Could be the EGR valve if it's stuck open, but I'd think that would make it run badly more often than not.

my car does the same thing, but i have a superchargered 383 wit hthe stoc k305 tpi chip, so i cant complain.... but on a stock car, i would check FPR, if it leaks slightly through the vac. line, then that might be it... it seems like every reply so far today has been somewhat related to a fpr..... hmmmm????
