i think that the SLP are the best for the money. I believe $350 if way too much to spend on runners for the AS&M because a holley stealth ram is only shy about $150. And you can pass emissions with the stealth ram, it just needs a little more tuning.

250 really? Wow that's a GOOD price for large tubes... I'm currently torn between a Superram or just getting a ported plenum w/ LTR's and an aftermarket base like the big mouth

get the stealth ram, this **** is bad. even putting it on a stock engine it wakes your car up bigtime. with a six speed put in it is even better holding it to 5800rpm and making good power all the way up. i am getting some 4.10 gears next, that should be a huge difference.

with a stock motor, i think the stealth ram would not help, say a stock 305tpi as the limiting factor on that motor is the cam. And holding a stock motor to 5800 rpm is not suggested. to tell ya the truth about 4.10's, unless your car makes power at the high rpm range, i think bigger numerical gears will hurt ET times.

Whuzzat?
A stealthram on a stock 305? No way. I believe Xanax was implying a 350 weren't you Xanax? =)

Hehe - aw man I WOULD get the HSR or the Mini or the LT1 but the Superram is smog legal and I want an emissions legal intake. I figure if I'm going to drive a 350 these days the least I can do is obey sniffer laws =P

You can tune a miniram, HSR, LT1, to pass emissions, maybe not CA emissions without serious tuning, but you can pass most state emissions with tuning. Hey I'm passing with my miniram

you are correct on that.but in my opinon all of the aftermarket LTR up grades are way over priced.i'm not spending $200-$500 on just runners or $400-$500 on a new intake base.when i can use a LT1 intake or a HSR for alot less.

not trying to start a fight just voicing my opinon
