How much would it cost to install heads and a cam (probably pretty expensive) because i know i probably cant do it or i'll mess it up....just wondering. And who would even do that kind of work?

 

I recently had an LT1 cam and a pair of SLP headers installed by a mechanic since I do not really have to much time or engine know-how to do something like that. For me it was not that expensive because the mechanic owed me a favor and he was a friend of my brothers.

You can always check with the local car clubs on different shops. There are usually plenty of mechanics around that know how and are decently priced that can do that kind of work, just ask around.
