SuperCharged Iroc doesnt wanna play nice......

My 89 5.7 Iroc has been giving me problems lately. the car has TPI,Paxton ball drive blower 5 PSI boost,MSD 6A and Boost timing box pretty much stock otherwise. Sometime ago the car started violentley surging and dying and not restarting when hot. The car would trip MAF code, I changed MAF no inprovement, code went away put old MAF back on and the code didn't come back. Car has good spark, fuel pressure and found no vacume leaks. A closer look revealed injector windings with resistance readings varying from 4 to 16 hms. I Replaced injectors with Accell 26 lb hr injectors. Idle quality is now good doesn't die at stoplights but still no hot restart and engine won't run with timeing connector unhooked. With timeing connector unhooked car will start momentarily then die. I plan to use a custom prom or an aftermarket Acell ECM [for the bigger injectors and the blower] after this problem is fixed. I also changed the ignition module and plug wires with no inprovment. I think the ECM went with the injectors, what do you think? Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
So basic is
A: Wont restart if car is hot
B: Wont start or run with little brown timing connectot unpluged (car does start momentarily then dies with connector unplugged)

Many Thanx , you guys know your stuff I hope you can help me here

Not that I think your current computer setup is causing all your problems.... but I just thought I would throw that out there

Not restarting when Hot Is typical of a Bad ignition Module, Wich could be related to your No-start with the ESC Disconnected.

I wouldn't think anything in the EC either, if it idles fine, then you can assume the QD's are working.

I'd wonder about disonnecting the EST bypass thoug, and the engine dieing...may want to disconnect the blower (to eliminate possible pre-ignition) and bump the timing up until the eningine will fire and idle. Could be it's just too far retarded to work well.

Ther could also be issues with your timing box, may want to bypass it as well with the blower disconnected.

Also, I think there's a "Power Adder" forum too, might be worth a trip there.

Car: 87 IROC
Engine: LB9 for the moment
Transmission: T5
I have been following the progress on this car...

the problem existed before the igntion sys was installed as I recall...

we have been considering swaping in an ECM that I have from an 86 or 87.... his ROC is an 89 and of course has VATS and no CSI... should be able to use the prom from his ECM though... If I'm wrong please let me know...
