Fuel Pump relay replacement?
So I've got a fuel pump relay with a burnt up connector. I'm thinking I should replace it but looking online, the relay socket is $30 for a GM replacement. I have a couple relays (like the high speed fan relay and the maf power relay) sitting around.. Anyone have any reason for me not to replace the existing relay and socket with this one? As long as I can figure out the pinouts, I have no issues with the actual procedure, I'm just wondering if the relays are spec'd differently and when replacing one with the other, will I run into problems? Please let me know.

relay is essentially the same, but one of the pins
is not in the harness and not tested at the factory
for the relay..
