Proven TPI upgrades. TB, AFPR, Injectors, recommendation.
Check out my sig. to get an idea what would work best for my car. Please only real world combo suggested.
I want to upgrade my induction, I already have the SLP runners.
Here is what I think will work, please correct me if you have something better or more effective.
48 or 52 Throttle body, Which one???? and by who?? what is stock??
SVO #24 injectors??? is this an over or under kill? are there any other injectors that work better, I hear the SVO are to short, is that true?
AFPR is there really a difference who make it?
Remember I have the stock cam, I want a combo that will work well with the SLP prom.
Also can you give me initial timing setting recommendation, I heard there a brown wire you have disconnect to set initial.
In addition at what fuel pressure works the best, I will have a autometer gauge inside, do I shoot for 43 PSI with the hose hook up? what worked best for you.
MY nitrous is hooked up to the fuel rail, is there another fitting to hook up the fuel pressure gauge or do you use a tee fitting of some sort and run it off the same place.
Thanks in advance. Please answer anyone of my questions, I need your proven results.

Aftermarket base manifold and port match your upper plenum to the runners, because then youd have a pretty free breathing TPI.
Forego a larger throttle body and instead get a used airfoil off ebay, your engine wont need a larger throttle body. The airfoil will allow in around 20cfm more for the stocker throttle body.
Id get the AFPR and shoot pressure up to around 50lbs
(you could get to a test and tune and see what works best)
Also what about your ignition? I think youd benefit from an aftermarket coil, cap&rotor, and some 8mm+ wires.

if you're going in for an AFPR def go for the Holley brand, i've heard its the easiest to use out of all the other companies that produce the afpr's for our cars, its a tad bit more expensive but worth it in the long run. and the only true way of figuring out what the best settings are would be to take it to a dyno and test and tune the car, theres no of actually telling what the best settings are just from guessing. and also the above suggested mods by D Stroy H8 is also more good stuff for the car

I forgot to tell you, that the 48mm thottle body size is the stock size.
Alslo, injectors are costly - as you must know already.
Maybe youd want to consider just having your stock injectors checked, blueprinted/flow matched. I think TPISpecialties does this service as well as Cruzin Performance.
Your setup is a good start, and I dig that its all SLP (very neat)
However, you havent doner anything internally (heads, cam, rockers etc) and I doubt youd need beefier injectors.
I'd work on free breathment in completion before even considering heavier injectors.

Thanks guys
D Stroy H8, Thanks for the heads up, I have a air foil just need to install, I have the good cap, rotor, with taylor wires, what aftermarket coil do you recommend, MSD?
I think my injectors are fine, I just wanted to upgrade the induction as a package.

which aftermarket base are you referring to?

Personally, since he's using nitrous, I'd start attacking from the fuel side before working on the "free breathing" aspects. The nitrous will more than make up for the intake's shortcomings (for now) and it's better to have too much fuel than too much air in this case.
This means doing the AFPR at the very least, and perhaps a fuel pump and the injectors before worrying about the porting and TB. The airfoil would be better than getting a whole new TB.
This will give you plenty of headroom for doing your induction upgrades without possibility of Bad Things happening.
The MSD coil is good. But then again it's all I've ever run as far as coils (stock replacements excepted).

For the most part any aftermarket coil from one of the big names
(mallory, taylor, msd, accel etc)
The aftermarket bases are made by:
TPIS - the Bigmouth
Edelbrock
Accel
Arizona speed and marine
These are all basically the same, and what sets them apart from the stock piece is that 1 - they flow far better and 2 -they have even more room for porting.
Thats right - I overlooked that your using funny juice =D
Which WILL make up for induction shortcomings, so perhaps i was a little premature in suggesting that you ignore your injectors for now - I would at least get them flowmatched as factory injectors have been known to vary sometimes as much as 15%! Also, to add to the ignition suggestion, maybe because you are using NOS you would further benefit from an MSD 6A or 6AL box.
