Also how many c.i. do you have?
What would you change to? or are you completely satified with the cam you have?

If you want great HP, go with the Comp Cams 306. If you want a great driver with good power, check out the HOT cam. Alot of people go with the CC305 too, so check that out. Just depends on what you want and how high you want to rev.

I have a Crane 278/290. It was orginally picked out for my TPI intake and heads. Heads mostly determine the cam though. Cubic inches is next in line IMO.
I run a standard 383 stroker engine.

I would like to try the CC306 but probably won't. I will most likely go straight to a solid roller cam when I deceide to upgrade. Valve springs will need changed for me as well when I do upgrade. the TF ones I am running max out at .500" lift.

Im have the CC305 cam, alot of LT1's are putting out 360-380 RWHP with that cam, and longtubes etc.... I still dont have a transmission. so I dont know how its running. but it sounds good. the stats are 220/230 @ .050 .544 .544 114LSA

LT4 Hot Cam. CC 306 would be my next choice if I were to start over.

LT4 Hot cam here. This motor revs forever with the LT1 intake. Plan on shifting at 6500 rpm, so at least 3.73's, and 3000+ stall if your running auto. Just installed a 3200 Vigilante...WOW!!
