group buy in at Thunder racing

Dave said that they might be able to do some thing for us if we can get some one willing to coordinate it. we would need at least ten people to do a GP. the only items that i mentioned to them where the HSR and the 52 MM tb.

My suggestion (having done a few GP's before) is to ask TR if they'll log the GP...i/e state "we need xx orders for xx price, and once all in-all done, we'll ship"

Running a GP is a major waste of time for most folks...you end up spending countless number of hours, to save 25 bucks, not to mention the actual time duration.

Good luck in your guys endeavors, but my "learned experience" says have the distributor set up a site and handle the GP themselves.

Thats what i am saying! I tried one with the Moser 12 bolt, and i let down a bunch of people who really wanted in. There is always going to be a few deat beats to ruin it! Leave it to the distributors/shops to do the leg work, just ask where and when to pay. IMO anyway. I had a bad experience with trying one on my own. Later and good luck with it.

I'm down with getting the HSR, but it'll be about a month before I have the money. Then, though, I'm 100% (Hopefully the GP will last til then if it happens!)

I'd like to see what kinda prices we'd be getting. If its good, I might be in for HSR. There was a GP about two weeks ago for Holley 52mm TBs thru Auto Sound and Performance. Got it to my door for $184, can't beat that!
