High/low impedance
High/low impedance
High needs 6-12 ohms and lo requires less than 4 ohms. But which ones work with the stock ECU? And where would you use the different application? Looking at Holley injector with lo imppedance and wondering what is needed to make them work with TPI? Thanks for the education in advance.

The stock ecm uses the high impedence type injector. You cannot use the low impedence type injector with the stock computer because the increased current draw will destroy the injector driver. You would need to switch over to an aftermarket computer; FAST, DFI, etc.

1) Replace the drivers in the stock ECM with drivers that will control the low impedance injectors.
2) Splice in the Acceleronics box:

3) Splice in the Accel Variable Injector Controller

I am currently running the Accel Variable Injector Controller with the stock 730 ECM.

I'm only running high-impedance 30lb SVOs right now. I installed the VIC because I got a great deal on it and I'll need some really big injectors when I install a Vortech Supercharger (along with swapping over to the SyTy 749 ECM). I won't be running an FMU ... hence the need for some really big injectors.
