I was shopping for a TPI parts car, and ran across a running 83 with cross fire on it...... first one I have ever seen. I know it was an early attempt at performance EFI and had some problems, but the working fresh air hood caught my eye. Taking any and all imput. Thanks!

the crossfire setup is junk. very restrictive. there is/was something called the crossram or x-ram to replace the crossfire for better performance but i dont know who makes it.

Historical oddity. Good for about low 14s and then you're just SOL. The Xram is an attempt to help, but all it is is a weiand single plane carb intake with a big flat CFI adapter plate on it, so while it gets around the ridiculously flow limited baseplate, it still has lmitations.

If something wasn't used for very long, there was a reason.
