Newbie To THe wonderful TPI world

Well i jsut sold my slow but beautfil 92 rs and got a 91 rs with a 350 tpi. Well i was jsut wondering with a modified exhaust (flows with duals 3"), a cone air k and n air filter, and a tpis air foil what do u think my hp would go up? and how could i pul 300 hp i mean itcant be too hard its 245 stock. Thanx

In my opinion I think that the best mods would be a Hot cam from GM for about 175 dollars and port your heads, or if you have the money get better ones. Larger runners and Plenum couldnt hurt either. Gears dont affect horsepower but they do make a big difference, so depending on what you have now I would think about getting some 3.73 or 3.42 gears. With all that you shouldnt have a problem getting 300 plus horsepower. You would probably have to do some computer tuning as well, I am not sure though because I swithched over to a carb and am not familiar with TPI computer tuning.

might want to add some headers, to that exhaust..

a full exhaust, performance filer should add roughly 30 hp, just a guess...
