Remove the gas cap and wait a few hours. The FP will eventually bleed off.

I asked the same question a month or two ago. Your FP will bleed off almost all of the pressure on it's own without removing the gas cap. When I removed my fuel rail it was leaking a little bit from the fuel lines at the front of the intake manifold. When I removed the gas cap it stopped completely. At no time did any fuel spray out. That's why you hear the FP energize every time you turn the key to the 'ON' position.

You can pull the fuse to the fuel pump and run it til it cuts off, or let the pressure out using the valve on back of the passenger side fuel rail. If you use the valve, it will spill fuel on the engine, but no big deal really.
