HMMM....Just might have some cash to blow

I was looking at my taxes and it seems that my company jipped me out of $4125. I called my boss/dad and told him what happened and he said that I needed to call the accountant and tell her about the problem and if they did screw up that I would get a check for that amount, minus taxes.
So....my wife said that we could throw half into savings and I could spend the rest on my car.
Now the dilemma.
What to buy, what to buy. I am trying not to get my hopes up but the wife has never said that I could spend $1500 on the car at once. I was thinking about getting:
LPE SuperRam Base- $460
LPE Plenum & Runners- $780
Those are $1240 so that only leaves $260. I was thinking about headers but I cant get 1-3/4" headers for that.
So then I was thinking about:
LT-4 "HOT" Cam, 1.6 Roller Rockers, Springs, Retainers)- $570
SLP 1-3/4" Headers- $500
SLP Runners- $260
That setup would be $1330 which would leave $170.

So I am not sure what I should do. Which looks the best? Something else that you would reccomend? A combo of the two?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Brian

Don't forget the little things you'll have to get, gaskets, bolts, etc. All adds up. And of course any decent amount of mods would probablly need some chip modification.

Shop for a used SuperRam and used headers, then take your wife out for a nice dinner with the left over cash... You can get alot with 1500 dollars, just shop around...

I just hope to get whatever I do before april 26th, then I wont feel so bad around yours and all the other faster cars that will be there.
Now I am thinking about getting my 89-crapo-paintjob fixed($700) headers($500) afpr($80) slp runners($260) and porting my base and plenum. that way I will gain some speed and look good doing it. I have thought about the juice but I would rather be fast NA.
