upon reading the "tps enhancer and other snake oil etc." post you mentioned how you could change tcc lockup mph in the chip and also mentioned something about tcc and WOT but you said it was too complicated a subject at the time. The reason i ask is that my trans will lock during WOT at the top of 2nd gear then unlock during the shift to 3rd then lock again. It bucks the hell outta my car and generally sucks. When I read your reply i was lead to believe you Knew a way around this inside the chip and maybe what actually causes this. There isnt any info on this anywhere that ive searched and you seem to be the only one who has touched on it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

You should hit the DIY board and ask over there. I know that you can change the speed at which the torque converter locks up, and you can prevent it from locking up under WOT. I'm sure Ed knows exatly how, but he may not see this as soon as the guys over there would.
