computer interchanging

i have a computer from a 89 v6 (2.8) from a computer.....i have heard it will work with tpi systems that are speed denisty (90-92)..
can anyone help me out???

Is the ultimate xref on GM ECMs.

You probably have a 1227730 ECM from the
V6, and yes it will work with TPI speed density,
you just need a new Memcal for inside it..
