lt1 intake ques john millican

what are the 2 holes jus inside the intake mines seems to be sucking oil frim them and i dont know why i didnt have this prob all last year thanks

Your question doesn't have much details. I am assuming you mean the two holes directly behind the throttle body openings. They are EGR ports which used to feed the exhaust back into the intake to re-burn it. Since the EGR is blocked off on an LT1 intake conversion I can't imagine where your oil is coming from.

thats what i was thinking i thought it was for the egr i ran this all last year with no probs but this year i have a bad miss went through everything cant find it i pulled off my holley tb and found oil and only place it looks like it could come from are those egr ports i dunno im lost thanks later

Do you have your PCV hooked up? (The fresh
air pull between the Pside VC and the TB?)

When I had heavy blowby, oil was actaully being
forced back up the fresh air tube, and into the
TB where it would spray back like you describe..

Pull the PCV system and run the motor with the
oil cap off to see if you're getting alot of blowby??

(Not to jinx you, but my blowby was from a cracked
piston ring landing..)
